Description

  • Own company-wide financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with audit-quality rigor.
  • Establish and improve internal controls, policies, and procedures for a private equity-backed environment.
  • Prepare board-level financial packages, KPIs, and investor reporting.
  • Lead post-merger integration activities, including systems consolidation, reporting alignment, and process standardization.
  • Support M&A through financial diligence, purchase accounting, and integration planning.
  • Lead or support ERP implementation and financial systems optimization.
  • Own external audit processes and manage auditor and advisor relationships.
  • Manage the client and vendor contract lifecycle, including drafting, redlining, negotiation, renewals, and contract repository maintenance.
  • Partner with executives on strategic planning, capital allocation, operational decisions, and reporting on profitability, utilization, and cash flow.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
  • Audit experience required.
  • CPA strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a private equity-backed environment preferred.
  • Professional services experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP implementation and financial systems transformation.
  • Experience supporting M&A and post-close integration.
  • Board or investor reporting experience.
  • Experience managing a legal function preferred.
  • Strong communication, judgment, and flexibility in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
