Description

  • Set the product strategy and north star for the Core Platform and Public API.
  • Lead discovery with internal stakeholders, customers, and enterprise users to identify pain points and opportunities.
  • Define, prioritize, and deliver the Core Platform and Public API roadmap from discovery through launch.
  • Partner with Engineering to scope, plan, and ship improvements and new capabilities across core services and APIs.
  • Create detailed definitions and specifications for new features and initiatives.
  • Manage engineering priorities to focus the team on the highest-impact work.
  • Co-own developer-facing documentation, including OpenAPI/Swagger, SDKs, guides, examples, and changelogs.
  • Serve as the product point of contact for launches and customer communications with Leadership, Compliance, Sales/AM, and Marketing.
  • Improve developer experience and time-to-integrate through better guides, sample apps, and self-serve workflows.
  • Communicate decisions, rationale, and timelines clearly across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • 6–10 years of Product Management experience with a strong track record of delivering results with engineering teams.
  • Deep technical knowledge of payments and API design/management, including PCI/3DS, idempotency, retries/routing, versioning, auth, and rate limiting.
  • Ability to build trust and alignment across Product, Design, Engineering, leadership, and enterprise customers.
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and the ability to think critically and creatively about complex problems.
  • Ability to stay steady under pressure and maintain judgment and quality when timelines are tight.
  • Highly collaborative and decisive, with a data-driven approach to stakeholder input and decision-making.
  • Fluent English.
  • Experience working in remote environments across Americas or Europe time zones, preferred.
  • Experience with developer experience, integrations, or public APIs, preferred.
