Description

  • Build and evolve high-performance APIs and microservices in Go for reliability, low latency, and scale.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of features and services from discovery and design through production rollout and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with product and business teams to turn payment problems into technical solutions.
  • Strengthen and expand integration frameworks that work across countries, providers, and payment rails.
  • Apply OWASP principles and secure engineering best practices to improve security, privacy, and data protection.
  • Contribute to agile delivery, continuous improvement, and engineering craftsmanship within a senior team.
  • Work independently on tasks in a changing roadmap and maintain strong execution ownership.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Golang for building backend services and APIs.
  • Proficiency in Java as a secondary backend language.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of writing and maintaining unit tests.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL, including relational database and query design.
  • Working knowledge of OWASP principles and secure engineering practices.
  • Ability to explain complex technical problems to technical and business audiences.
  • Ability to execute tasks independently in a constantly changing roadmap.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in the payment industry or fintech environments (preferred).
  • Experience integrating payment service providers and payment rails (preferred).
  • Knowledge of frontend languages and frameworks (preferred).
