Description

Manage RDBMS and NoSQL database solutions across the infrastructure stack.
Ensure database performance, scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery across environments.
Implement and maintain replication chains, partitioning, sharding, and backup strategies.
Support development teams with database design, optimization, and problem-solving.
Troubleshoot database and infrastructure issues across bare-metal servers and virtual machines.
Drive automation for infrastructure and database lifecycle management using Terraform, Puppet, and custom tooling.
Collaborate with internal teams to support evolving database and infrastructure needs.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field.
Expert-level experience with at least one of MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with other RDBMS or NoSQL solutions.
Strong knowledge of SQL, including DDL, DML, and DCL.
Experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms.
Proficiency in Linux.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
Experience with scripting, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Puppet, Bash, or Python is a plus.
Team management experience is a plus.
Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or Zabbix is a plus.
