Description

  • Manage RDBMS and NoSQL database solutions across the infrastructure stack.
  • Ensure database performance, scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery across environments.
  • Implement and maintain replication chains, partitioning, sharding, and backup strategies.
  • Support development teams with database design, optimization, and problem-solving.
  • Troubleshoot database and infrastructure issues across bare-metal servers and virtual machines.
  • Drive automation for infrastructure and database lifecycle management using Terraform, Puppet, and custom tooling.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support evolving database and infrastructure needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field.
  • Expert-level experience with at least one of MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with other RDBMS or NoSQL solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, including DDL, DML, and DCL.
  • Experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency in Linux.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
  • Experience with scripting, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Puppet, Bash, or Python is a plus.
  • Team management experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or Zabbix is a plus.
