Description

  • Manage RDBMS and NoSQL database solutions across multiple environments.
  • Ensure database performance, scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery on bare-metal servers and virtual machines.
  • Implement and manage replication chains, partitioning/sharding, and backups.
  • Support development teams with database design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Drive automation for infrastructure and database lifecycle management using Terraform, Puppet, and custom tooling.
  • Troubleshoot database and infrastructure issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with teams that access confidential company data and support regulatory compliance needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field.
  • Expert-level experience with at least one of MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with other RDBMS or NoSQL solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, including DDL, DML, and DCL.
  • Experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency in Linux.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
  • Experience with scripting, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Puppet, Bash, or Python (preferred).
  • Team management experience (preferred).
  • Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or Zabbix (preferred).
