Description

  • Configure application interfaces and maintain reports and vendor package applications.
  • Analyze, design, configure, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and implement changes to custom-developed and packaged applications.
  • Learn business processes for supported applications and investigate and resolve production issues.
  • Develop technical designs that align with business needs and the company’s IT direction.
  • Create clear documentation for completed products and changes.
  • Build and execute unit test plans, develop test cases, assist with integration, and complete system test plans.
  • Support software packaging requests for Asset Management needs.
  • Manage source code repositories, builds, and deploys.
  • Work with business owners and stakeholders to gather requirements and assist with defect resolution.
  • Be available to work flexible hours to support the application portfolio.

Requirements

  • Experience with relational databases and strong SQL skills, including writing procedures and triggers.
  • Microsoft Server configuration and administration experience, including IIS, Services, and Tasks.
  • Experience with Asset Management products such as DNV Cascade, Doble Powerbase, Hitachi Asset Performance Monitor (APM), or SEL Compass is highly preferred.
  • Linux/UNIX operating system experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Kubernetes clusters and application deployments is a plus.
  • Integration experience is a strong plus.
  • Willingness to take on unfamiliar assignments and quickly learn new IT concepts and systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively on a team and independently in a virtual environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver software solutions across the full development lifecycle and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Preferred experience with database tools such as TOAD and SQL Server Management Studio.
