Description

  • Research competitors, interview publishers and partners, and analyze subscriber and payment data to identify opportunities.
  • Collect requirements and translate findings into clear feature designs.
  • Own roadmap prioritization, deciding what gets built, in what order, and why.
  • Drive features through development, production delivery, and cross-product coordination.
  • Work closely with a tech lead and engineers across Payments, Anti-fraud, Auth, Catalog, Shop Builder, LiveOps, Analytics, and other teams.
  • Support post-release activities, including marketing materials, sales training, integration-team materials, and public documentation.
  • Stay close to publishers and their subscribers to understand needs that affect retention and revenue.
  • Maintain a clear rationale for roadmap decisions that stakeholders can rely on.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of product experience, with direct experience in subscription, billing, or payments products.
  • Strong understanding of subscription economics and lifecycle, ideally in games such as battle passes, premium memberships, and season passes.
  • Comfort with billing mechanics including renewals, proration, dunning and retry, grace periods, refunds, chargebacks, and tax.
  • Proven ability to take features from research to shipped product.
  • Ability to make prioritization decisions without complete information.
  • Systems thinking and an understanding of how pricing and billing decisions affect many publishers and subscribers.
  • Daily use of AI tools is assumed and expected.
  • Strategic vision for applying machine learning to subscription challenges such as churn prediction, retry timing, and dynamic pricing is a significant plus.
  • Hands-on machine learning experience is a plus.
