Description

  • Drive fund formation with external counsel, including vehicle and jurisdiction selection, LPA and side letter drafting, GP and management company setup, and regulatory perimeter design.
  • Own the LPA from an operational standpoint and translate agreed terms, economics, and governance mechanics into day-to-day fund processes.
  • Select, negotiate, and manage the fund’s service-provider stack, including the administrator, auditor, tax advisors, banking/custody, and compliance vendors.
  • Run core fund operations, including capital calls, distributions, LP onboarding, KYC/AML, expense management, and cash movement controls.
  • Own valuation policy, NAV oversight with the administrator, borrowing-base mechanics, and leverage facility administration.
  • Build the reporting stack, including quarterly ILPA-aligned reporting, capital account statements, and LP communications infrastructure.
  • Maintain diligence readiness by preparing DDQ responses, operational due diligence materials, and data room operations content.
  • Establish and maintain policies for valuation, allocation, conflicts, ESG/AML, regulatory filings, and audit coordination.
  • Codify the fund’s operating playbook with documented processes, controls, owners, and audit trails.
  • Build out and mentor the junior operations team and coordinate closely with Xsolla finance and legal teams as the fund scales.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in fund operations, fund CFO, or fund controllership roles at private credit or other private capital funds.
  • Experience taking at least one private fund from formation through first close.
  • Deep working knowledge of LPA terms, fund administration, capital call mechanics, and ILPA reporting standards.
  • Credit fund experience with leverage facilities, borrowing bases, loan administration, and asset-level reporting is a strong plus.
  • Hands-on operator who can serve as the full operations function on day one.
  • Strong documentation and controls discipline with processes designed for operational due diligence.
  • Strong commercial judgment on provider selection, fee negotiation, and build-vs-outsource decisions.
  • Clear communication skills for explaining fund mechanics to investors, borrowers, and company leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • CPA, CFA charter, or MBA is preferred.
