Description

  • Lead implementations from kickoff through effective date and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Build implementation plans covering plan design, eligibility, stop-loss, integrations, communications, and compliance.
  • Configure employer groups across XO and partner systems, including eligibility files, ID cards, welcome kits, member apps, and portal integrations.
  • Translate client requirements into internal execution plans and verify readiness before go-live.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage milestones, surface risks, resolve blockers, and report status to leadership.
  • Serve as primary contact for clients, brokers, and TPAs; lead status meetings and maintain decisions and open items.
  • Prepare implementation documentation, checklists, and readiness sign-offs, then complete the handoff to the account owner.
  • Own and continuously improve XO’s implementation playbook, including timelines, templates, data requirements, and process automation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of implementation, client onboarding, or project management experience in self-funded health benefits, TPA operations, or a health plan.
  • Working knowledge of self-funded medical and pharmacy plan design and ERISA, ACA, CAA, and Mental Health Parity requirements.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-party healthcare implementations with fixed effective dates.
  • Understanding of employer and TPA distribution channels, including brokers, consultants, benefits administrators, and stop-loss carriers.
  • Experience with eligibility files, enrollment data, and system configuration.
  • Strong client-facing communication, organizational skills, prioritization, and judgment.
  • Experience implementing for or alongside a TPA (preferred).
  • Experience building processes at an early-stage or high-growth company (preferred).
  • Familiarity with health plan technology platforms, member apps, or provider directory tools; PMP or similar certification preferred.
