Description

  • Design and develop an in-house AI-powered Analytics Agent running in Devin.
  • Implement agent capabilities for modifying data marts, ingesting data sources, and running dbt workflows.
  • Integrate the agent with GitHub to support code changes and development activities.
  • Adapt an existing dbt project to run reliably in Databricks and resolve Snowflake compatibility differences.
  • Develop and test agent capabilities across dbt and Databricks environments.
  • Define safe workflows, validation mechanisms, and guardrails for AI-assisted engineering changes.
  • Apply engineering practices covering testing, code reviews, observability, security, and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot issues across Devin, GitHub, dbt, Databricks, Snowflake, MySQL, and related integrations.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders and engineering teams to meet business and operational needs.
  • Document architecture, operating procedures, support scenarios, and knowledge-transfer materials.

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on dbt experience, including modeling, testing, documentation, dependency management, and troubleshooting.
  • Commercial experience with Databricks and good knowledge of Snowflake, including platform migration or workload adaptation.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience designing data marts and analytical data models.
  • Experience building ingestion pipelines and working with relational sources such as MySQL.
  • Strong knowledge of Git and GitHub development workflows.
  • Experience integrating tools through APIs, command-line interfaces, or automation frameworks.
  • Experience developing AI-powered engineering tools, AI agents, or agent-based automation.
  • Knowledge of automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, logging, monitoring, error handling, and AI-code guardrails.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, collaboration, and end-to-end ownership skills; English proficiency required.
  • Ability to work from the European Union with a valid work permit.
  • Preferred: experience with Devin, agentic workflows, prompt design, human-in-the-loop approvals, data quality frameworks, Databricks Workflows, Unity Catalog, mentoring, or technical ownership transfer.
