Description

  • Perform manual testing of web applications across multiple environments.
  • Design, create, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios.
  • Validate backend functionality through API and database testing where applicable.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects in Azure DevOps.
  • Participate in test planning and contribute to the overall test strategy.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Analyze test results and produce clear, actionable defect reports.
  • Share testing knowledge, best practices, and support continuous process improvement.
  • Work independently while managing testing activities and meeting deadlines.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in manual testing of web applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or similar test management and bug tracking tools.
  • Strong understanding of test case design techniques and testing methodologies.
  • Extensive knowledge of the software testing lifecycle and quality assurance processes.
  • Experience implementing and following project test strategies.
  • Practical knowledge of backend testing, including API and database validation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote environment.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to acquire and share knowledge.
  • Practical experience using AI-powered assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
  • Work from Bulgaria and a valid work permit are required.
  • Experience working on retail or eCommerce projects is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SQL and REST APIs is preferred.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of test automation concepts is preferred.
  • Experience applying GenAI in a structured way within the SDLC is preferred.
  • Interest in emerging AI-driven practices such as agent-based workflows and AI-augmented development is preferred.
