Description

  • Deploy, integrate, commission, and operate software in live process-control environments through production use.
  • Build site-specific integrations, data flows, and state-machine logic for customer systems and operating constraints.
  • Test and validate solutions, diagnose issues across software, data, and control-system boundaries, and drive resolution.
  • Own technical outcomes beyond go-live and communicate field learnings, reusable connectors, and product gaps to engineering and product teams.
  • Coordinate third-party commissioning and installation personnel while remaining accountable for technical results.
  • Work with operators and stakeholders to define success, demonstrate operational value, and document customer outcomes.
  • Apply pipeline operations, hydraulic modeling, simulation, and management-of-change knowledge to solution design.
  • Configure Windows servers, OPC servers, and HMI systems in SCADA environments.
  • Travel nationally and internationally up to 10%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or technology diploma in computer science, software, electrical, computer, or controls engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience deploying and supporting complex software in mission-critical environments.
  • Scripting or programming experience with Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server and network administration.
  • Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, and time-series databases.
  • Ability to translate operational feedback into concrete software-logic changes.
  • Experience writing specification documents and technical reports.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot is preferred.
  • Knowledge of industrial protocols such as OPC-UA, OPC-DA, MQTT, or Modbus is preferred.
  • Hands-on SCADA experience, pipeline operations, hydraulic modeling, or tools such as AVEVA Enterprise SCADA, Ignition, or DNV Synergi Pipeline Simulator is preferred.
  • Strong autonomy, prioritization, communication, collaboration, troubleshooting, and attention to detail.
