Description

  • Manage SEO work across 3-5 client accounts and build strong client relationships.
  • Implement technical SEO, content, and AI search optimization changes across client websites and digital ecosystems.
  • Optimize visibility in traditional search engines and AI-driven discovery platforms.
  • Retain existing business while identifying and pursuing growth opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Communicate with clients regularly by phone and email.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to develop integrated SEO and AI search strategies.
  • Research industry changes, algorithm updates, LLM developments, and competitor activity to stay current in the search landscape.
  • Create reports and dashboards to track rankings, traffic, AI-driven visibility, and business impact.
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to clients to influence content, technical, and AI search direction.
  • Lead the sales process and work with development, content, and product teams to implement website and digital presence changes.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of SEO experience for clients in an agency environment.
  • At least 1 year of client-facing experience preferred.
  • Ability to lead strategy for multiple large-growth SEO and AI Search clients.
  • Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, including keyword research, search intent, technical SEO, and website architecture.
  • Familiarity with how AI search systems retrieve, interpret, and surface content.
  • Experience with keyword research, competitive analysis, and emerging AI search tools.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, and performance measurement across traditional and AI-driven search environments.
  • Understanding of content strategy, including entity-based optimization, topical authority, and structured data.
  • Experience working directly on websites; general knowledge of CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or Magento is a plus.
  • Ability to quickly learn new skills and adapt to a rapidly evolving search landscape.
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to meet and exceed deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive approach to collaboration and workload management.
