Description

  • Lead hands-on development across React/TypeScript, Django/Python, and PostgreSQL.
  • Design, build, and maintain end-to-end product features and scalable RESTful APIs.
  • Translate business workflows into intuitive, accessible, and responsive user experiences with Product and UX.
  • Integrate Google and other third-party platforms securely and reliably.
  • Establish reusable frontend and backend architecture patterns and technical direction.
  • Own automated testing with Pytest, Vitest, and Playwright across continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve application performance, reliability, and observability.
  • Drive features from discovery and technical design through deployment, documentation, and production support.
  • Identify and resolve defects, technical debt, and architectural risks.
  • Review code and designs, mentor engineers, and raise engineering standards across squads.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience building production web applications.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with React/TypeScript and Python/Django.
  • Experience owning complex full-stack features and systems end to end.
  • Deep React knowledge, including hooks, component architecture, accessibility, and Redux or Zustand.
  • Deep Django knowledge, including ORM, migrations, authentication, authorization, and Django REST Framework or similar tooling.
  • Strong REST API, third-party integration, PostgreSQL, and relational data modeling experience.
  • Experience with Vite, NPM, GitHub Actions or comparable CI/CD systems, and automated testing with Vitest or Jest, Pytest, and Playwright.
  • Strong understanding of application security, API security, and secure coding practices.
  • Experience deploying and operating containerized applications in cloud environments; GCP and Kubernetes experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated architecture, debugging, problem-solving, technical leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional influence.

  • $135,000–$155,000 anticipated annual salary range, plus benefits.
