Description

  • Plan, develop, and implement comprehensive paid search strategies to drive direct response and new user acquisition for assigned clients.
  • Manage and optimize search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns daily across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other paid search platforms.
  • Oversee end-to-end account activity for 2–3 lead-gen/B2B clients, including Search, Shopping, Display, Remarketing, App Install, and Video campaigns.
  • Create and manage paid search accounts and campaigns, including keyword research, ad copywriting, and bidding strategy implementation.
  • Design and run A/B tests and experiments to identify optimal campaign settings and improve performance.
  • Use Google Analytics and other analytics tools to develop insights, generate action items, and adjust strategy and budgets accordingly.
  • Communicate results and campaign strategy with clients via weekly, monthly, and quarterly calls and present to senior-level client contacts.
  • Collaborate with managers from other channels to develop cross-channel strategies that improve KPIs (e.g., CPA, ROAS) and overall efficiency.
  • Mentor and manage a pod of Coordinators, Associate Managers, and/or Managers, providing guidance and development support.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing multiple client portfolios in paid search.
  • Agency experience preferred.
  • Experience managing clients with monthly budgets ranging from $50,000 to $500,000 per client.
  • Deep knowledge of the SEM industry and the paid search advertising model.
  • Experience with keyword research tools and web analytics tools (Google Analytics) and applying them to paid search campaigns.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and chart building.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including presenting to senior-level client contacts.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to develop actionable insights from campaign data.
  • General knowledge of SEO, social advertising, and web usability, plus an understanding of customer lifetime value and profit optimization based on client margins.
  • Ability to stay extremely organized, manage competing priorities across multiple clients, and work comfortably in dynamic, time-intensive environments.
