Description

  • Define country-specific data roadmaps for new jurisdictions, including mandatory and preferred data requirements for KYB and KYC.
  • Identify, evaluate, and secure local business registries, credit bureaus, and other specialized risk data providers.
  • Develop a global risk taxonomy for sanctions, watchlists, politically exposed persons, and adverse media.
  • Partner with Engineering and Product to define how data is integrated and consumed in a scalable way.
  • Ensure acquired data complies with global privacy regulations and internal data residency requirements.
  • Support the company’s expansion into international markets by maintaining a global data playbook for each country.
  • Work with suppliers and local partners to source data needed for business verification, identity verification, fraud prevention, and risk screening.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in fintech, neobanking, or data provider industries.
  • Deep domain expertise in KYB, KYC, and AML, including knowledge of global registry availability and local sourcing requirements.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical requirements to engineers.
  • Proven experience negotiating high-value data contracts with global suppliers.
  • Strong knowledge of AML/CTF regulations and regional differences across the EU, LATAM, and APAC.
  • Ability to work remotely, with travel to Orlando, Florida at least twice per year for town halls and team collaboration, plus orientation in Orlando.
  • Experience with data governance, privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA, and data residency requirements.
