Description

  • Build trusted AI/ML prediction and forecasting data flows, including feature pipelines and data validation frameworks.
  • Design and implement reliable, scalable, and secure data pipelines for analytical and product use cases.
  • Own the architecture and evolution of the data platform to support business performance, scalability, and agility needs.
  • Implement data governance, quality, and observability practices to maintain trustworthy insights and data health.
  • Optimize cloud data infrastructure for cost, performance, and maintainability.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other data engineers and cross-functional collaborators.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and customer stakeholders to translate business needs into engineering solutions.
  • Ensure engineering efforts align with customer experience and deliver clear business value.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, including 1–2+ years in a senior or lead capacity.
  • Strong understanding of ML models and trade-offs between architectures such as complexity vs. inference speed and accuracy vs. interpretability.
  • Advanced Python proficiency for complex data structures and automation.
  • Strong SQL expertise.
  • Familiarity with Scikit-Learn and similar libraries, with experience building and maintaining feature engineering pipelines.
  • High proficiency in MLOps practices and orchestration tools such as Airflow, dbt, or Dagster.
  • Experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, performance optimization, and cloud computing on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience in a senior or lead role is preferred.
