Description

  • Design and develop responsive user interfaces and React-based user experiences.
  • Build and maintain backend services and Node.js applications.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs across the application stack.
  • Work with PostgreSQL databases, including querying, design, and optimization.
  • Connect frontend applications with backend services and databases.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, product stakeholders, and other developers.
  • Identify opportunities for future improvement across frontend and backend systems.
  • Contribute to technical and product discussions in an Agile environment.
  • Apply clean architecture and quality-focused development practices.
  • Support performance, scalability, error handling, and application security in application design.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of professional software development experience.
  • Meaningful experience across both frontend and backend development.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React.
  • Strong professional experience with Node.js backend applications and services.
  • Experience designing, querying, and optimizing PostgreSQL databases.
  • Experience with Redux Toolkit and React Query.
  • Experience developing Node.js applications using Koa or a similar framework.
  • Experience with RESTful API design, development, and integration.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design and frontend performance optimization.
  • B2-level English or higher with professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with frontend build tools and modern application toolchains (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Git, database modeling, migrations, transactional workflows, and UI/UX principles (preferred).
  • Experience with gRPC, Apache Thrift, AWS, cloud-native architectures, containerized applications, or distributed systems (nice to have).
  • Experience with automated testing across frontend, API, and backend layers (nice to have).
  • Must be a resident of Colombia or Argentina with the right to work in the country of residence.
