Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python, primarily with Django and Flask.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers and product managers to define and implement RESTful APIs.
  • Optimize existing applications for speed, scalability, high availability, and performance.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and improve product delivery.
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to design efficient data models and queries.
  • Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote software engineering best practices.
  • Contribute to improvements in backend architecture by staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of backend development experience with a strong focus on Python.
  • Experience with Django or Flask.
  • Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fully remote setting.
  • Familiarity with FastAPI for building modern web APIs (nice to have).
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS (nice to have).
  • Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques for backend applications (nice to have).
  • Previous experience in Agile development methodologies (nice to have).
  • Interest in contributing to open-source projects or communities (nice to have).
