Description

  • Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand talent needs, role requirements, and workforce priorities.
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for experienced and technical roles from intake through offer acceptance.
  • Proactively source passive candidates through research, networking, referrals, and creative outreach.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews to assess skills, experience, motivation, and organizational fit.
  • Manage multiple concurrent searches while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and clear search updates.
  • Build and maintain long-term pipelines and talent communities for critical skill areas.
  • Drive offer discussions and negotiations in partnership with hiring managers and HR.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance recruiting efficiency, quality, and candidate experience.
  • Ensure recruiting activities comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and support AAP and EEOC requirements.
  • Use ATS and HRIS systems to manage requisitions, candidates, reporting, and record retention.
  • Track and leverage recruiting metrics to support transparency and informed decision-making.
  • Provide guidance or mentorship to junior recruiters or contract recruiting resources.
  • Partner with HR, Talent Management, DEI, and other stakeholders on broader talent initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong focus on experienced engineering and environmental consulting roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with business leaders in a consultative recruiting model.
  • Proven success sourcing and closing hard-to-find technical and professional talent.
  • Experience recruiting in a growth-oriented or multi-business organization preferred.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, compliance requirements, and equitable hiring practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and professional social media platforms such as LinkedIn.
