Description

  • Manage and execute industrial water and wastewater system design, planning, and construction projects.
  • Lead and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and subconsultants to deliver projects.
  • Determine project delivery approaches and partner with senior leadership on technical strategies for larger projects.
  • Schedule, track, and manage project budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Use Woodard & Curran’s Project Management Framework to execute projects.
  • Communicate proactively with internal project and technical teams as work progresses.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers and subcontractors to support project delivery.
  • Interact with clients, visit client sites, and represent the firm professionally.
  • Coordinate with contractors and clients during construction to ensure compliance with Contract Documents.
  • Conduct and coordinate QA/QC reviews on project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with leadership on staffing and resource planning.
  • Provide input on design guidelines and standards and support business development efforts.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and training for internal and external audiences.
  • Mentor staff in technical and project management skill areas.

Requirements

  • M.S. in Engineering; P.E. or other certification/advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of professional experience with an engineering consulting firm.
  • Demonstrated experience serving industrial clients.
  • Strong commitment to safe work practices.
  • Industrial client engineering and/or design-build expertise, preferably in food and beverage, pharmaceutical/chemical, data center, life sciences, and/or consumer products markets.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strong project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver effective presentations to stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering quality projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Remote/virtual work location with up to 25% travel within the continental U.S.

  • Competitive salary of $110,000 - $175,000 a year, with location-based pay differentials.
