Description

  • Lead threat modeling and security reviews across products and cloud infrastructure, identifying attack surfaces and mitigation strategies.
  • Build automation, policy-as-code, and security tooling to support secure development workflows.
  • Design and implement secure baselines for cloud resources and Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
  • Drive vulnerability management and remediation from prioritization through preventative control design.
  • Extend detection and response capabilities to identify malicious activity, triage alerts, and investigate incidents.
  • Partner closely with engineering and operations teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions.
  • Collaborate with software development and DevOps teams to secure products, CI/CD infrastructure, and production infrastructure.
  • Use Wiz-for-Wiz to assess, monitor, and harden internal environments.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in security engineering or security operations in cloud environments.
  • Strong AWS cloud security experience, with equivalent Azure and GCP experience considered if some AWS experience is present.
  • Experience with cloud-native Kubernetes services such as EKS, GKE, or AKS and strong container security principles.
  • Deep understanding of IAM and cloud identity security at scale.
  • Proven ability to lead technical security reviews, conduct threat modeling, and translate findings into actionable security controls.
  • Practical understanding of web application security concepts such as OWASP Top 10.
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, or Pulumi.
  • Experience building automation and tooling in one or more of Python, Go, Shell, HCL, or Rego.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent job experience in lieu of a degree (preferred).
  • Experience working with remote, globally distributed teams (preferred).
  • Experience in organizations that develop software or operate managed infrastructure for their own customers (preferred).
  • Experience with CNAPP, CSPM, or CIEM solutions (preferred).
  • Legal right to work in the country where the position is based without visa sponsorship.
