Description

  • Oversee and manage 4-5 copywriters to keep the editorial calendar on track.
  • Edit content for clarity, tone, competitive positioning, factual accuracy, and SEO best practices.
  • Provide actionable feedback and support to writers to help improve their craft over time.
  • Coordinate content handoffs so polished work moves seamlessly to uploaders and goes live.
  • Write cornerstone or other high-difficulty pieces that require deeper technical nuance or a more sophisticated touch.
  • Participate in deep-dive client discovery calls and content review calls.
  • Maintain high editorial standards across web pages, blog posts, email copy, and other content types.
  • Balance approximately 20% hands-on writing with 80% editing and content refinement.

Requirements

  • Professional-level written and spoken English fluency.
  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior, positioning, and effective marketing.
  • 3+ years of experience in an editorial or content management role, preferably in an agency environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong organization and planning skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Sharp attention to detail, especially for marketing quality, tone, and factual accuracy.
  • Ability to collaborate professionally while maintaining high standards.
  • Availability to work 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
