Description

  • Greet patients virtually and assist with the check-in process.
  • Conduct face-to-face patient interactions via tablet during check-in.
  • Collect patient co-pays and deductibles and confirm patient details.
  • Answer inbound phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments accurately.
  • Communicate with patients and complete follow-up outreach.
  • Support patient care coordination through remote administrative tasks.
  • Enter and maintain accurate patient data in the patient management system.
  • Use EMR/EHR systems, with WebPT preferred.
  • Remain present in a virtual video conference room with camera on for the entire shift.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in medical administration, healthcare support, or a healthcare front desk role, including virtual assistant experience.
  • Strong experience handling patient scheduling and inbound calls in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience collecting patient co-pays and deductibles and discussing payments professionally.
  • Comfortable using EMR/EHR systems; WebPT experience is an advantage.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish, with clear, professional, and empathetic communication in both languages.
  • Confident being on camera and engaging patients in real time.
  • Comfortable with tablet-based, patient-facing virtual interactions.
  • Proactive, reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in WebPT and Optimum is a plus.
  • Must be able to speak and write English very clearly.
  • Must be able to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance before onboarding.
  • Reliable laptop or desktop computer, high-speed internet of at least 15 Mbps, noise-canceling headset, webcam, and a quiet professional workspace.
