Description

  • Convert patient notes into proper SOAP note format in the PayDC EHR system.
  • Enter SOAP notes in real time between patient visits to support immediate billing.
  • Maintain organized and accurate patient records and medical documentation.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility, coverage details, and update insurance information in the system.
  • Process and review EOBs (Explanation of Benefits).
  • Process billing and claims after SOAP notes are completed.
  • Apply medical billing and coding knowledge to reduce claim issues and improve accuracy.
  • Handle and submit prior authorization requests as needed.
  • Answer inbound and outbound phone calls professionally and support front desk and patient communication tasks.
  • Send letters, forms, and other documentation to patients, insurance companies, and attorneys as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong background in medical billing and coding.
  • Experience with SOAP note writing and medical documentation.
  • Knowledge of healthcare administrative workflows, including insurance verification, prior authorizations, and healthcare billing processes.
  • Ability to accurately convert patient notes into proper SOAP note format.
  • Relevant experience in a healthcare or medical administrative role.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable handling inbound and outbound phone calls professionally.
  • Experience with chiropractic billing and documentation is a plus.
  • Experience using multiple EHR/EMR systems is preferred.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new software platforms such as PayDC.
  • Experience working with international or US-based companies is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and interested in long-term employment.
  • Must be proficient in speaking and writing English very clearly.
  • Must have relevant work experience.
  • Must be able to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check before onboarding.
  • Must be available for video meetings with camera on when needed.
  • Reliable laptop or desktop computer required.
  • High-speed internet connection required, minimum 10 Mbps.
  • Noise-canceling headset required.
  • Webcam required for virtual meetings.
  • Quiet, professional workspace required.
