Description

  • Manage full-cycle medical billing, including claim submissions, follow-ups, denials, and appeals.
  • Review and process Notices of Admission (NOAs) for accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform home health agency billing in accordance with payer guidelines.
  • Use ALORA software for billing, documentation, and tracking.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits before claim submission.
  • Ensure claims are accurate, complete, and compliant prior to submission.
  • Meet a daily KPI of 45 claim follow-ups per day.
  • Upload, track, and organize Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
  • Prepare and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation.
  • Provide administrative overflow support, executive assistance, and receptionist-level phone support when needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management.
  • Hands-on experience with home health billing and NOA review.
  • Familiarity with ALORA software is highly preferred.
  • Experience with billing/EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks (ECW), AdvancedMD, DrChrono, WebPT, Fair Bill, Elation, or TheraBill is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Solid understanding of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
  • Clear English communication, both written and spoken.
  • Relevant experience in healthcare billing or administration.
  • Willingness to provide NBI or police clearance if requested.
  • Full availability during working hours with no other clients.
  • Comfort attending video meetings with camera on.
  • Reliable laptop or desktop computer.
  • High-speed internet with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps.
  • Noise-canceling headset.
  • Webcam.
  • Quiet, professional workspace.
