Description

  • Transfer patient demographics, provider licenses, and payer/insurance information from legacy systems into platforms such as Verity, Health Stream, and Healthie.
  • Ensure transferred data is accurate, complete, and properly organized in updated digital records.
  • Verify, update, and maintain provider credentialing files, including licenses, certifications, NPI details, and expiration dates.
  • Audit provider documentation and flag non-compliant or outdated credentialing records.
  • Gather and prepare documentation for credentialing and re-credentialing processes.
  • Schedule patient appointments, send reminders, and manage patient records in EMR systems such as Healthie.
  • Communicate with providers and internal stakeholders to support day-to-day administrative operations.
  • Support the setup and maintenance of telehealth platforms.
  • Perform insurance benefits verification and eligibility checks.
  • Assist with enrollment applications, appeals, claims processing, and related billing tasks.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in a remote administrative or healthcare virtual assistant role.
  • Healthcare administrative experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with credentialing and healthcare procedures is advantageous.
  • Must speak and write English very clearly.
  • Must have relevant work experience.
  • Must be able to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check before onboarding.
  • Must be available for video meetings with camera on when needed.
  • Reliable laptop or desktop computer is required.
  • High-speed internet connection of at least 10 Mbps is required.
  • Noise-canceling headset, webcam, and a quiet professional workspace are required.
