Description

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and financial records using the company’s accounting tools.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports, summaries, and data presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and actionable insights.
  • Support budget tracking, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Create, document, and maintain SOPs, workflows, and process guides.
  • Review existing processes and drive operational improvements based on business data.
  • Support the rollout of new operational updates, tools, and organizational changes.
  • Coordinate across departments to maintain operational continuity and alignment.
  • Serve as a client point of contact, handling inquiries, escalations, and follow-ups professionally.
  • Lead or co-lead a team and support team member development through coaching, mentoring, and feedback.
  • Communicate updates, risks, and recommendations clearly to executives, leadership, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of combined relevant experience in both finance/accounting and operations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or managing a team in any capacity.
  • Track record of building or improving SOPs, workflows, or business processes.
  • Background in client-facing roles where communication quality affected outcomes.
  • Experience working in a remote environment is strongly preferred.
  • Solid written and verbal English communication skills are required.
  • Ability to produce clear, concise, and professional reports, SOPs, emails, and documentation.
  • Comfort speaking in team meetings, client calls, and leadership briefings.
  • Ability to learn and work with whatever accounting or business tools the company uses, including QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks if needed.
  • Strong critical thinking, self-management, and follow-through in a remote work setting.

Benefits

  • USD 1,500 - 1,800 monthly salary.
  • Remote, long-term full-time independent contractor setup.
  • Work schedule aligned to US hours (EST).
  • PTO after the 120-day probationary period.
