Description

  • Monitor contracts and agreements with vendors, consultants, banks, tenants, contractors, municipalities, and other parties.
  • Perform accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue tracking.
  • Reconcile accounts on an as-needed basis and manage the bank reconciliation process.
  • Handle data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Gather data and prepare monthly reports to track company financials.
  • Prepare balance sheets, financial statements, and payroll documents.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of company books and records.
  • Complete ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of proven bookkeeping experience with international clients.
  • Knowledge of US taxation is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial and accounting terminology and practices.
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Asana, and Excel.
  • Tech-savvy and familiar with desktop sharing, cloud services, and VoIP.
  • Experience with word-processing software and spreadsheets, such as MS Office.
  • Knowledge of online calendars and scheduling tools, such as Google Calendar.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work on a graveyard shift.
  • Must have a USB noise-canceling headset, working webcam, main and backup computers with at least a 1.8 GHz processor and 4GB RAM, and wired internet speeds of at least 25 Mbps for the main connection and 10 Mbps for backup.
