Description

  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS platforms and internal databases.
  • Prepare HR reports covering headcount, turnover, and leave tracking.
  • Assist with benefits enrollment and respond to general employee inquiries.
  • Help keep company policies, procedures, and employee handbooks current.
  • Support compliance audits by organizing documentation and records.
  • Track mandatory training completion and help enforce HR compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate internal HR programs, announcements, employee surveys, and engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding documentation, scheduling, and access setup.
  • Draft HR communications, letters, and forms, and maintain HR files securely.
  • Post job openings, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinate candidate communications.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of proven experience as an HR Assistant, Recruitment Coordinator, or similar HR support role.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Calendar) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with HR systems such as BambooHR, Workday, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in administrative work.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong time management, coordination, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proactive and eager to learn HR processes and best practices.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English speaker.
  • US work hours availability of 20-40 hours per week.
  • Technical setup including USB noise-canceling headset, working webcam, computer with at least 1.8 GHz processor and 4GB RAM, and internet speeds of at least 25 Mbps cable plus 10 Mbps backup.
