Description

  • Analyze the sales funnel to identify where deals stall, drop off, or fail to start after closing.
  • Investigate pipeline health, conversion rates, and deal velocity, and provide leadership with clear performance insights.
  • Build sales collateral such as presentations, PDFs, case studies, and videos, and test new approaches to improve close rates.
  • Create sales playbooks for messaging, objection handling, and deal management.
  • Develop onboarding playbooks and tailored resources that deliver a consistent client experience and improve adoption.
  • Improve handoffs between sales, onboarding, and customer success, and join client calls to refine best practices.
  • Work with operations to improve staffing processes, including faster matching, fewer mis-hires, and better placement fit.
  • Analyze churn and retention data, design retention strategies with leadership, and codify them into scalable customer success playbooks.
  • Equip customer success managers with training materials, guides, and client-facing resources to support proactive client management.
  • Track and report performance across sales, onboarding, activation, and retention, highlighting risks, opportunities, and experiments.

Requirements

  • Experience in a startup or entrepreneurial environment, preferably building from scratch.
  • Consulting background or a similarly structured approach to strategy and operations.
  • Ability to analyze data directly, with SQL knowledge preferred.
  • Proficiency with productivity and CRM tools such as Asana, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Airtable, ClickUp, Monday.com, and Notion.
  • Design skills, including Canva or graphic design, to create professional client-facing materials.
  • Strong presentation skills and executive presence with senior clients.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity, moving quickly, and adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Hands-on mindset with the ability to create collateral, guides, and playbooks rather than only recommending ideas.
  • Analytical and structured thinking to spot patterns in funnel data and turn insights into solutions.
  • Experience communicating clearly and confidently in client and executive settings.
