Description

  • Call insurers about overdue invoices, confirm expected payment dates, and identify payment delays.
  • Send professional payment reminders and maintain accurate notes in insurer portals.
  • Provide supporting documentation requested by insurers.
  • Track promises to pay, follow up on missed commitments, and escalate repeated delays.
  • Investigate and resolve straightforward invoice queries and identify missing payment information.
  • Escalate complex disputes to internal teams and monitor their progress.
  • Build professional relationships with insurers while achieving payment outcomes and reducing overdue debt.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in accounts receivable or debt collection, particularly pursuing overdue invoices.
  • Strong phone and email communication skills.
  • Accurate record-keeping and attention to detail.
  • Ability to investigate invoice queries, identify missing documentation, and escalate complex issues appropriately.
  • Confident, respectful, and professional approach to debt collection.
  • Experience with Xero and Excel; familiarity with Crunchwork is helpful, though training is provided.
  • USB noise-canceling headset, working webcam, and computer with at least a 1.8 GHz processor and 4 GB RAM.
  • Primary internet connection of at least 25 Mbps and backup connection of at least 10 Mbps.
  • Availability for full-time, 40-hour workweeks aligned with Australian Eastern Standard Time.
