Description

  • Work directly with founders, owners, and small sales teams to implement scalable sales systems.
  • Recruit and interview sales representatives.
  • Build onboarding and ramp-up systems for new reps.
  • Develop training processes, playbooks, and sales scripts.
  • Improve appointment structure, follow-up, and lead management processes.
  • Run role-play sessions, coaching, and rep development meetings.
  • Create KPIs, scorecards, and accountability systems.
  • Establish sales meeting rhythms and operational discipline.
  • Coach founders, player/coaches, and emerging sales leaders through the shift from founder-led sales to team-based sales.
  • Help standardize and refine internal sales operating systems across multiple home service industries.

Requirements

  • Proven experience starting as a sales representative and becoming a top producer.
  • Experience helping build or scale a sales team from 1 salesperson to a small team of 3–5 reps.
  • Direct experience training, coaching, or mentoring newer sales representatives.
  • Hands-on background building sales systems through practical necessity rather than consulting or theory.
  • Strong understanding of in-home selling, appointment flow, objection handling, and rep accountability.
  • Experience with training consistency, sales culture development, and rep ramp-up/performance management.
  • Preferred experience in one or more home service or in-home sales industries, such as foundation repair, waterproofing, HVAC, roofing, remodeling, restoration, plumbing, electrical, windows and doors, or solar.
  • Ability to work with founder-led businesses in the $2M–$10M annual revenue range.
  • Ontario, Canada-based with focus on supporting U.S. home service companies.
