Description

  • Perform quality assurance on movies and TV products’ data and metadata by following testing instructions and test cases accurately.
  • Review and create content according to project-specific quality standards, trademarks, style guides, checklists, and glossaries.
  • Complete assigned tasks accurately and on time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prioritize tasks and issues efficiently while working on repetitive work.
  • Make informed judgment calls when requirements or information are ambiguous.
  • Collaborate with international teams to monitor and improve client product quality and partner data integrations.
  • Evaluate the quality of written and spoken text for services within your linguistic and geographic area of expertise.
  • Contribute to content review and creation for music and TV applications as needed.

Requirements

  • Native-level fluency in Japanese and strong awareness of Japanese culture.
  • Fluent or business-level English for working with global clients and teammates.
  • At least 1 year of experience in QA, data analysis, or a similar role.
  • Experience using advanced spreadsheets.
  • Basic knowledge of iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV.
  • Up-to-date awareness of current and common technical language usage in Japanese.
  • Knowledge of Korean is an advantage but not required.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week on assigned shifts.
  • Immediate availability to start.
  • Passion for TV, movies, or the film industry is preferred.
