Description

  • Perform translations for assigned clients and projects using translation tools.
  • Translate marketing, help, UI, and regulated content.
  • Support copy-editing tasks on selected content types.
  • Use standard CAT tools and other translation-related tools, including query and live UI checking tools.
  • Follow established translation workflows, style guides, and client requirements.
  • Raise queries when needed and incorporate corrections from senior team members and client reviewers.
  • Track personal error statistics and improve weak areas.
  • Participate in internal and client-led trainings, quality meetings, and quality calls.
  • Take part in the error arbitration process.
  • Meet productivity, on-time delivery, quality, and team goals.

Requirements

  • University degree in Translation, Applied Languages, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Native-level Irish and English proficiency, both written and spoken.
  • Fluent in the host language and the translated language, both written and spoken.
  • 2-4 years of experience in translation, localization, editing, or content writing.
  • Good understanding of the localization process.
  • Experience with CAT tools.
  • Good user experience with Windows and Office applications.
  • Ability to learn new localization tools and applications quickly.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and a remote team.
