Description

  • Translate patent and technical content from English (en-US) into Mongolian (mn-MN).
  • Perform linguistic quality assessments (LQA) and quality control on translated content.
  • Identify and correct terminology, style, and language inconsistencies.
  • Ensure translations follow client-specific style guides, glossaries, and project guidelines.
  • Provide detailed feedback to translators and prepare quality reports.
  • Use CAT tools to review, assess, and manage translation work efficiently.
  • Adapt complex scientific language for target audiences in biology and chemistry.
  • Maintain consistency and accuracy across patent and technical documents.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in linguistics, translation, biology, chemistry, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in translation, linguistic quality assessment, copywriting, or copy-editing.
  • Experience specifically with patents or technical content.
  • Strong knowledge of biological and chemical terminology.
  • Exceptional command of English (en-US) and Mongolian (mn-MN).
  • Proven experience reviewing or translating patents or technical documents.
  • Proficiency with CAT tools for project management and quality assessment.
  • Native-level fluency in the specified languages.
  • Immediate availability for an ASAP-start remote freelance project.
