Description

Find bugs, defects, and regressions in software products.
Design, implement, execute, and debug test cases and automated test scripts.
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents and provide timely feedback.
Develop testing plans and scenarios based on functional requirements and technical specifications.
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities within a cross-functional development team.
Identify, record, document, and track bugs through resolution.
Perform regression, exploratory, and system testing to support releases.
Validate and document testing completion and verify fixes before release.
Monitor and maintain bug backlogs for accuracy.
Own intranet page responsibilities and support process, training, and tool improvements as needed.

Requirements

6+ years of professional experience.
Strong diagnostic skills to test software and measure product quality.
Technical background to create effective testing scenarios from functional requirements and detailed specifications.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and writing SQL queries.
Experience with QA testing on ERP-type applications or systems.
Understanding of administrative software for higher education is a plus.
Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
Proficiency with at least one programming or scripting language is a plus.
Ability to use sound judgment and maintain ethical standards when working with AI-enabled tools.
