Description

  • Listen to 5-second audio clips and transcribe them exactly as spoken.
  • Follow a documented style guide for punctuation, formatting, and audio flags.
  • Flag clips with background noise, cut-off speech, or unclear audio using standard codes.
  • Maintain an average completion time of approximately 125 seconds per task.
  • Work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
  • Commit 10–20 hours per week for up to 6 weeks, with possible extension.
  • Contribute to improving how the AI platform understands Egyptian Arabic dialects.

Requirements

  • Native or near-native fluency in Egyptian Arabic.
  • Strong written language skills, including awareness of punctuation and sentence structure.
  • Reliable computer, high-quality headphones, and stable internet connection.
  • Comfort working independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to detail and ability to apply structured guidelines consistently.
  • Ability to commit 10–20 hours per week for up to 6 weeks.
  • Prior experience in transcription, data annotation, or a related field is advantageous but not required.
  • Location: remote from Egypt.
  • Start date: ASAP.
