Description

  • Lead and oversee multi-country European tax compliance, including VAT, WHT, DST, and local filings.
  • Manage external advisors and BPO providers to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the business to maintain proactive compliance.
  • Support audits and tax inquiries while managing risks and maintaining proper documentation.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on tax implementations for new country expansion, product launches, and restructuring initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Commercial, and Business teams on operational and commercial initiatives.
  • Drive scalable tax processes and automation in partnership with Financial Systems and global tax teams.
  • Support entry into new markets and other key business initiatives across Europe.
  • Contribute to a wellbeing-focused workplace culture that encourages balance and taking time off.

Requirements

  • At least 8+ years of tax experience, ideally in multinational environments.
  • Strong expertise in European VAT and multi-country tax compliance frameworks.
  • Prior experience in European tax compliance and VAT is mandatory.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Commercial, and Business teams.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting business growth, market expansion, and operational initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and business partnering skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and drive practical solutions.
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-growing, international environments.
  • Experience in wellness, technology, SaaS, or marketplace companies is a strong plus.
