Description

  • Develop and maintain data models and structures that support efficient querying and analysis.
  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to process large volumes of data from multiple sources.
  • Discover, collect, process, enrich, and transform partner data from text, photo, video, and audio formats.
  • Add business context and semantics to data to improve partner content, recommendations, and business intelligence.
  • Implement automated data quality checks to ensure consistency across the full data lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to gather requirements and shape data solutions.
  • Engage stakeholders to present solutions and support data needs across the company.
  • Enable data availability for data scientists, business analysts, product teams, and other internal users.
  • Maintain consistency across the broader data ecosystem.
  • Contribute to a data-driven culture and continuously improve data processes.

Requirements

  • Experience creating robust, scalable data models from business requirements.
  • Experience collecting, preparing, and analyzing complex business data collaboratively.
  • Ability to engage engineering and product teams to elicit requirements and present solutions to senior management.
  • Knowledge of data pipeline tools and technologies such as Airflow, EMR, and Kafka.
  • Comfort with big data concepts for ingesting, processing, and making data available to different teams.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams to understand data needs and build effective data pipelines.
  • Experience maintaining data consistency across an entire data ecosystem.
  • Motivation to contribute to a data-driven culture.
  • A learning mindset and willingness to fail fast and try again.
  • Based in Brazil for this role.
