Description

  • Develop and maintain data models and structures that support efficient querying and analysis.
  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to transform and process large volumes of data from multiple sources and formats.
  • Add business context and semantics to processed data to improve usability and interpretation.
  • Implement automated data quality checks to ensure consistency and reliability across the data lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand data needs and define solutions.
  • Collect, prepare, and analyze complex business data with cross-functional partners.
  • Engage stakeholders and present solutions to management when needed.
  • Support cloud-based, large-scale data and software engineering initiatives for AI-powered products.
  • Help improve user experience, recommendations, business insights, and overall platform quality through data work.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in data modeling and data pipelines is mandatory.
  • Experience creating robust and scalable data models from business requirements.
  • Experience working collaboratively to collect, prepare, and analyze complex business data.
  • Ability to engage engineering and product teams to elicit requirements and present solutions to top management.
  • Knowledge of data pipeline tools and technologies such as Airflow, EMR, and Kafka.
  • Comfort with big data concepts for ingesting, processing, and serving data to data scientists, business analysts, and product teams.
  • Ability to maintain data consistency across the entire data ecosystem.
  • Motivation to contribute to a data-driven culture and work in a fast-moving environment.
  • Must be located in Brazil and eligible for a remote role within Brazil.
