Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain reusable security automation components, connectors, integrations, and playbooks.
  • Build scalable automation for SOC workflows, incident response, threat investigation, alert enrichment, triage, and response.
  • Translate customer requirements, use cases, and proof-of-concepts into production-ready automation solutions.
  • Integrate SIEM, SOAR, EDR, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence platforms.
  • Develop modular automation frameworks that can be deployed across diverse customer environments.
  • Integrate AI and LLM capabilities into workflows for intelligent analysis, investigation, and decision-making.
  • Apply validation and safeguards to ensure AI-powered workflows are reliable and secure.
  • Maintain and enhance the customer-facing security automation content library.
  • Apply engineering practices including testing, code reviews, documentation, version control, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Product teams, and customers to improve solution delivery and resolve deployment issues.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in security engineering, security automation, cybersecurity software development, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on programming experience in Python; JavaScript experience is preferred.
  • Experience developing security automation solutions, integrations, connectors, or SOC playbooks.
  • Practical understanding of SOAR platforms and security operations workflows.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, including threat detection, incident response, and security tooling.
  • Experience with security platforms such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence tools.
  • Understanding of software engineering principles, including algorithms, data structures, testing, maintainable code, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to translate customer requirements and technical concepts into production-grade solutions.
  • Understanding of generative AI, LLMs, agentic workflows, and their application to security automation.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, authentication mechanisms, and third-party integrations is preferred.
