Description

  • Architect end-to-end agent loops including planning, memory, retrieval, tool use, and self-verification.
  • Design and implement agent architectures and integrations with external tools, APIs, databases, and file interfaces.
  • Implement tools and MCP-style interfaces (functions, API endpoints, DB queries, file handlers) for agent use.
  • Combine retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) with agents by handling chunking, embeddings, retrieval, reranking, and grounding.
  • Add operational and safety guardrails such as execution sandboxes, permissions, rate limits, and PII protection policies.
  • Build evaluation pipelines for agents measuring task success, autonomy depth, and recovery rate.
  • Optimize agent behavior for reliability, determinism where required, and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure observability and robust error handling across agent execution and tooling integrations.

Requirements

  • Production experience with LangChain, CrewAI, or similar frameworks and with function/tool calling patterns.
  • Strong Python engineering skills with experience in async programming and robust error handling.
  • Practical experience with RAG workflows, including vector databases, indexing pipelines, and retrieval quality tuning.
  • Systems thinking around queues, retries, idempotency, caching, and concurrency control.
  • Knowledge and experience in agent security and safety, including prompt injection mitigation, tool scoping, and least-privilege design.
  • Experience with building evaluation frameworks for LLMs and agent behavior (preferred).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS) and container/orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).
  • Experience with message buses/streaming systems, synthetic data generation, graph-based planning, constraint solvers, or program-of-thought techniques (nice-to-have).
