Description

  • Develop the vision, strategy, and language for how Wealthfront’s product ecosystem works together.
  • Design product experiences that address complex financial needs and improve client outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with content design, user research, product management, engineering, legal, and compliance partners.
  • Help define opportunities, explore solutions, and contribute to strategic product roadmaps.
  • Balance large ambiguous problems with detailed execution and high-quality product craft.
  • Advocate for client needs and proactively identify areas that need attention.
  • Communicate ideas clearly and present work and impact to cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Work across the full product design process from strategy and flows through detailed interactions and pixel-level execution.
  • Navigate trade-offs from both customer and business perspectives to drive alignment and decisions.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product design experience at a consumer software company.
  • A portfolio demonstrating high-quality visual and interaction design craft.
  • Ability to articulate the impact of your work on your team and the business.
  • Experience collaborating with product managers, researchers, and content designers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate and present ideas clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and steer work with minimal oversight.
  • Experience designing across the full product process, from strategy to pixel.
  • Strong product thinking with a deep interest in business and customer needs.
  • Interest in fintech and the home lending industry.
  • Preferred experience building consumer financial technology products.
  • Preferred ability to embrace complexity, handle ambiguity, and lead through challenging situations.
  • Preferred high agency, resilience, and a proactive mindset for proposing improvements.
