Description

  • Work with a cross-functional team to ensure vehicle behavior is safe, dynamically feasible, reliable, and comfortable in uncertain environments.
  • Design and deploy algorithms to measure the performance of state-of-the-art systems for handling weather and degraded conditions.
  • Build scalable evaluation approaches that work across different cities and driving scenarios.
  • Contribute to a project at the intersection of traditional robotics and modern machine learning.
  • Develop and apply methods for analyzing autonomous driving system performance.
  • Support validation of vehicle models, motion planning, and related robotics problems using machine learning techniques.

Requirements

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience building, integrating, debugging, and evaluating ML-based systems.
  • Strong experience with Python for data analysis.
  • Strong experience with SQL and working with large datasets.
  • Strong experience programming in C++ with robust and efficient code.
  • Strong software architecture skills.
  • Ability to work effectively on a distributed team.
  • Experience applying machine learning to generate vehicle models, solve motion planning, or related robotics problems is preferred but not required.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $204,000 to $259,000 USD.
  • Eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus program.
  • Eligibility for an equity incentive plan.
