Description

  • Build and maintain multi-team internal playbooks and documentation for international new market launches.
  • Facilitate the execution of operations-focused processes covering infrastructure, equipment, local vendors, and supply chain enablement.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional stakeholders to assess risks and drive continuous improvement in launch readiness and execution.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for market entry and early operations expansion in new international cities.
  • Work closely with Legal, Regulatory, Safety, Real Estate, Product, Supply Chain, Business Development, and other teams to improve launch processes.
  • Represent Operations interests in internal program review meetings from early planning through commercial launch.
  • Support the integration of new operational partnerships into the Waymo ecosystem.
  • Provide direct support to deal teams leading specialized programs.
  • Develop and maintain processes and documentation for internal use and partner education.

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of experience in Program Management, Process Excellence, Sales/Ops Enablement, and/or Strategy & Operations.
  • Proven track record of turning ambiguous problems and workflows into clear, actionable decisions, playbooks, and processes.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment such as Tech or Global Logistics where products, processes, and standards change frequently.
  • Comfort guiding progress with limited information and revisiting plans as the fact base changes.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels of an organization and influence without authority.
  • Experience program managing or supporting growth in multi-country business units.
  • Ability to integrate local nuance into a global approach for international launches.
  • Preferred: proficiency with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies.
  • Preferred: confidence with basic spreadsheet modeling, especially for physical asset, real estate, and/or headcount planning.
  • Travel availability for approximately 30% of the year.

  • Base salary range of $159,000 to $196,000 USD.
