Description

  • Oversee market fleet readiness to ensure the Waymo fleet meets service, performance, and operational standards.
  • Lead and support diagnostic technicians by setting priorities and managing execution of daily work.
  • Provide daily support to vendors and hold them accountable for compliance and performance.
  • Maintain fleet health and readiness by proactively identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues with internal teams and external partners.
  • Collaborate with diagnostic technicians to monitor fleet health and implement corrective actions.
  • Support vendor operations and coordinate cross-functional issue resolution to keep the fleet ready for Ride-Hail service.
  • Maintain consistent adherence to established operational processes.
  • Provide performance updates and insights to the Fleet Manager and Head of Global Fleet Readiness.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a commercial operations and logistics role with a focus on fleet readiness initiatives.
  • Proven ability to execute daily operational tasks while maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, external partners, and executives.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify gaps, and make informed decisions.
  • Up to 25% travel is required.
  • Preferred experience building relationships and fostering cross-functional alignment.
  • Preferred leadership experience coaching teams, setting objectives, and providing guidance.
  • Preferred ability in analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving, risk assessment, and long-term planning.
  • Preferred experience proactively identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Preferred ability to lead with a clear vision and motivate teams toward common goals.

Benefits

  • $152,000 to $192,000 USD base salary range.
