Description

  • Write SEO-optimized blog articles from pre-built outlines on investing, Shariah-compliant finance, retirement, market commentary, and product education.
  • Translate keyword research and search intent into engaging long-form content that ranks and converts.
  • Apply on-page SEO best practices including H-tags, meta titles and descriptions, internal linking, alt text, and featured-snippet formatting.
  • Maintain a consistent publishing cadence while managing multiple drafts in parallel.
  • Write landing page copy for product, campaign, and lifecycle pages designed to convert.
  • Create social media copy for Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Write narrative-driven carousel and static ad creative in collaboration with designers.
  • Develop short-form and long-form video scripts with clear hooks, structure, and calls to action.
  • Produce paid ad copy for Meta and Google Ads, including headlines, descriptions, and primary text variants for A/B testing.
  • Support lifecycle and CRM writing such as email subject lines, push notifications, and in-app messages when needed.
  • Partner with Compliance and Legal to ensure content meets SEC, FINRA, and internal disclosure requirements.
  • Revise copy quickly in response to compliance feedback while maintaining brand voice.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional copywriting experience, with a meaningful portion at a U.S. fintech, wealth, or financial services company.
  • Hands-on experience writing under SEC / FINRA oversight and revising content within a compliance review cycle.
  • Strong working knowledge of Islamic / Shariah-compliant investing in the U.S. context, including riba, gharar, halal screening, sukuk, zakat, AAOIFI standards, and the broader Halal investing landscape.
  • Demonstrated SEO copywriting experience with blog content that has ranked.
  • Ability to write effectively across formats, from long-form articles to short ad headlines.
  • Excellent self-management in a remote, async environment with the ability to handle multiple deliverables in parallel.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Surfer, Clearscope, or Google Search Console, preferred.
  • Experience writing for retirement products, self-directed brokerage, or robo-advisory products, preferred.
  • Direct-response or performance marketing experience with measurable lift on Meta or Google, preferred.
  • Comfort using AI-assisted workflows while maintaining originality and brand voice, preferred.
  • Arabic language familiarity or experience writing for Muslim audiences, preferred.
