Description

Participate in the Sales Associate Development program to learn cold calling, lead qualification, and Voltus’s value proposition
Work closely with Sales Managers and Directors to set sales meetings and support deal progression
Prospect for new business through research, prospect lists, and outreach
Accept inbound and perform outbound telephone calls to identify and qualify sales opportunities
Develop relationships with key decision-makers and understand customer needs
Report on account activity and pipeline status to sales leadership
Meet or exceed sales objectives for your assigned energy market
Collaborate with Sales Directors to help close deals and transition customers

Requirements

Based in the United States (role expectation) and authorized to work from your home location; Voltus does not sponsor visas or transfers for new hires
College degree required
6 months to 1 year of experience within an inside sales organization
Aptitude for sales with the courage to prospect and hit targets
Top-notch verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
Comfort with technology and the ability to explain technical information to varied audiences
Time management, prioritization, and ability to self-motivate
Experience with tools like PowerPoint, Salesforce, and Google Suite
Interest or experience with energy markets and a passion for clean energy and sustainability
Willingness to give and receive feedback and work collaboratively with teammates

Benefits

$55,000 base salary with $94,000 OTE in Year One
Eligible for additional monthly bonuses, equity, and uncapped commissions
