Description

  • Develop and prioritize outcomes within the Market Platform pillar to drive business impact and communicate results to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Collaborate with engineering managers to define product requirements and manage day-to-day execution of ongoing initiatives and workstreams.
  • Formulate investment theses grounded in user needs, market mechanics, and business objectives.
  • Own the product roadmap, vision, success criteria, and metrics for the product area.
  • Validate hypotheses and assumptions about market mechanics, user needs, and system behavior.
  • Ensure product solutions are operationally viable, adequately supported, and aligned with business and regulatory strategy.
  • Serve as the connective tissue between customer needs, energy market complexity, and the engineering team building the platform.

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of experience as a product manager or in a role building products.
  • Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong technical acumen and comfort reviewing specs and engaging deeply with engineers.
  • Ability to self-start and prioritize multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Ability to distill qualitative and quantitative information into actionable product decisions.
  • Experience in energy markets, market operations, or energy technology (bonus).
  • Must be authorized to work from home in the US or Canada, unless otherwise indicated.
  • Must align working hours with a US-based time zone.
  • Ability to work primarily from your home country due to remote work and regulatory/security limitations.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $120,000-$135,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
  • 10% annual bonus.
